Communication has been a problem for almost all human beings. We fail to understand others but perceive that we understand them and act according to our misapprehension which gets us into a LOT of trouble!
Communication problems could stem from childhood experiences where we are taught to be quiet and be spoken when asked. This leads to patterning or habit formation of bottling it all up and inability to communicate efficiently.
Here are 3 simple things to communicate better..
1.Listening and not just hearing. This would require you to remove the cloud of how it should be or what ‘you’ think it is suppose to be and just accept what the others are saying. Just BEING.
2.Watch and observe your words. Every letter or word that we utter have their own vibrations and leave an impact on yourself and on the others. Practice to watch your words even when you are angry or sad and actually don’t really mean them.
3.Chanting and Mantra Recitation. This is an excellent tool to positively influence our physiological state thereby improving physical, mental and emotional health. Mantra-s produce powerful sounds and when chanted correctly can produce specific vibrations in our body. They are also an excellent tool to improve focus and attention allowing you to be more present to LISTEN.
So if you find yourself in a situation where you are with your partner/children/a friend and you seem to be talking at top of your voice but nothing seems to have been heard even though they are right next to you, there might be communication problems.
